The Story Behind the Vision
Pasky’s journey into photography and filmmaking is a story of curiosity, passion, and purpose. Born and raised in France, her interest in visual arts blossomed after she immigrated to Canada and began traveling the world. With a camera in hand, she found herself drawn to capturing the authenticity of everyday life, sparking a deep affection for photojournalism.
Over the years, her creative path intertwined with her love for music and dance, shaping her work into a celebration of movement and expression. This evolution led to a particular focus on portraits of artists, the performing arts, and fashion. Pasky’s lens has documented vibrant collaborations with renowned Toronto artists and organizations like Dance Migration, Dynesti, Eliana Cuevas, Kwesiya, Le Labo Inc, Lula Lounge, Sofar Sounds, Showzaço, Uma Nota Culture, among others.
As her creative vision expanded, Pasky delved into filmmaking, directing and producing three short films. Two of these were featured at the prestigious Festival international du film francophone ‘Cinéfranco’ in 2021 and 2022, reflecting her growing expertise in storytelling through motion. More recently, her passion has found a home in the cinematic practice of dance for the screen, where movement and narrative unite in powerful ways.
The culmination of this journey is Pasky Media, a multimedia production company dedicated to visual storytelling with authenticity and creativity at its heart. With a focus on music, dance, fashion, and everyday moments, Pasky Media creates compelling portraits and narratives that explore the beauty and diversity of human experiences.
This vision has now expanded further with the opening of Pasky Studio, a versatile space in downtown Toronto designed for photographers, creatives, and wellness professionals. It’s a hub where ideas come to life—whether through photography, video production, or small creative gatherings.
